39th week and counting..

I am waiting for D day. Sitting at home doing the usual house chores is not enough to take my mind off the labor and birth topic. I browse online to find more information and when I got scared on the details, I went on doing online window shopping haha~ I have successfully gather information on how fast my lil girl will grow and when is the right time to change diaper sizes, when is the right time for solid food, what kind of toys will be good for her brain development etc. It is fun. I feel more and more excited everyday.

What will my baby girl look like? With sharp big nose like her daddy or round flat nose like her mommy? When she is born, will she have thick black hair just like when I was born 27 yrs ago, or her hair resembles “bulu jagung” like daddy? Will she be tall and slim or short and chubby? Will she have curly eye lashes like daddy or straight non-existant lashes like mommy? Hahaaa.. only god knows..

Btw, I have a good read on jaundice. According to this doctor, it is not related to what the pregnant mommy eat, but more to what she eat when she is breastfeeding her baby. Go on, have a read:

Majalah Sihat keluaran Julai 2008 – dimana penulisnya Norimanah Seman telah menemuramah dan mendapatkan pandangan dari Dr Azam Mohd Nor (Pakar Kanak-kanak Hospital Pusrawi) mengenai punca Jaundis.

Ikuti artikel dibawah…

I’ve asked my mom before did she have any issue taking the jamu in her confinement period. She said no issue at all. I know my two younger brothers have jaundice but it is due to G6PD. I guess I need to delay my jamu intake for 2 weeks or so and stick to black pepper and garlic to keep my body warm and also to get rid of all the gasses.

Mommy will do anything for you lil one. That includes ignoring the stretch mark and flabby tummy😉
